Nissan’s premium brand Infiniti, for the new year, updates the successful crossover called EX, refining some aesthetic details and proposing new and more efficient technological solutions in the sector of active safety. First among them is the blind spot warning system (BSW), available as standard optional in the pack GT Premium, accompanied by the device to prevent the invasion of lane (LDP, Lane Departure Prevention) that after debuted on the diesel version arrives on the EX petrol. The Infiniti EX 2011 Model Year has also been changed in the dashboard’s design: the dials hands and graphics information are now white, to improve – according to the carmaker – the quality and readability.
Available as pack standard, GT and GT Premium, the EX is available with two engines: the first is the familiar 3.7-liter V6 with 320 hp and 360 Nm of torque, while the other engine is the latest 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel, introduced last July, capable of 238 hp and 550 Nm of maximum torque available from 1,750 rpm. The pack GT Premium – the best-selling, according to the brand – includes as standard heated leather seats and electrically adjustable with memory positioning, navigation with maps on a hard drive with touch-screen and voice recognition with 360° screen view, Xenon adaptive headlights, parking sensors, scratch-resistant paint, 18-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, dual zone climate control and electrically adjustable steering column.
The EX 2011 is now available at the official Infiniti dealers . Prices for the European market starting from an average of 49.000 € needed for the purchase of EX37 with standard equipment, up to 57,000 for the EX30d GT Premium.
