2011 Jeep Compass is ready to debut on european market since this month and will be available as two or four-wheel drive.
The new facelift covers the bumper, spoilers with same color as the body, parking lamps with LED technology, molding at the base of the door in silver color and chrome exhaust tailpipe standard on version Limited. The external changes regards the new roof rails, 17″ alloy wheels standard on Sport version and the 18″ on the Limited.
The new cockpit displays coatings on the front doors, made of soft materials, a new center armrest and a new steering wheel with integrated Controls which allow to use radio, cruise control, speakerphones and other options. Standard accessories include electric windows, central locking, air conditioning, electric heated door mirrors, illuminated cup holders, keyless start system, fog lights, tinted windows, speed control and Boston Acoustics audio system with nine speakers .
ENGINE: The new Jeep Compass uses a single 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine, combined with a six-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive Freedom Drive I. The engine delivers a maximum power of 163 hp and 320 Nm of torque. Fuel consumption, according to Jeep, in the combined cycle is 6.6 liters per 100 km. The engine in also available on a version with 136 hp and only with two-wheel drive. The 2011 Jeep Compass is available as Sport and Limited and will be marketed in April
