Porsche presents the 911 Carrera 4 GTS coupe and convertible, repeating the operation GTS on the four-wheel drive after the rear-wheel drive version a months ago. The only exterior detail that stands out comparing the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS and the homonymous rear-wheel drive version is the tail-end reflecting band typical of the “4”, while throughout the interior is noticed the abundance of black Alcantara.
The engine is the same 6-cylinder 3.8-liter, 408 hp, while the average consumption values are 11.0 l/100 km for the Coupé and 11.2 l/100 km for the Cabriolet. The increase in performance of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS has been obtained thanks to the new air intake system and a new sport exhaust which also provides a better sound. The 911 Carrera 4 GTS with manual transmission gets 100 km/h from a standing start in 4.6 seconds, rising to 4.8 for the convertible, while the optional dual-clutch PDK lowers these times of 2/10 second.
The Porsche Carrera 4 GTS can be ordered at the average price of € 112,000 for Coupe, while the Cabriolet pricing starts at € 123,000 and first deliveries are scheduled for July 2011.
