2011 Porsche Panamera Gets Diesel version

Porsche updated the range of Porsche Panamera, announcing that its flagship since the summer will also be available with diesel engines.

ENGINE: Porsche Panamera diesel will have a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6, 250 hp, which has 550 nm of torque at 1,750 rpm, combined with the eight-speed automatic transmission Tiptronic S. According to the German  automaker, the car which is available only with rear-wheel drive, can get 100 km/h from a standing start in 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 242 km per hour. As on other 5-door of this GT the adaptive air suspension are optional extra.

FUEL EFFICIENCY: Porsche said that Panamera diesel consumes an average of 6.5 L/100 km and 172 g/km of CO2. The standard automatic start/stop if combined with low rolling resistance tires, allows better values as 6.3 L/100 km and 167 g/km. The Porsche Panamera diesel can get more than 1200 km as range. The German price is set at € 82,000 and deliveries will begin in August.
