The new Fabia is now available as GreenLine version and fuel-saving model for the Skoda range. Powered by the 1.2 TDI Common Rail with Start-Stop, energy recovery system and recommended gear indicator, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are further reduced. The technology adopted by GreenLine Skoda, provides the introduction of new engines, the 1.2 TDI CR (for Skoda Fabia, Skoda Roomster and Skoda Fabia Combi) and the 1.6 TDI CR (for Skoda Yeti, Skoda Octavia Combi and Octavia, Superb and Superb Wagon), both of the engines are combined to the 5-speed manual transmission, Start & Stop system, the recovery of energy during braking, ECU calibration, low rolling resistance tires but also underbody aerodynamics changes together with the indication on the sreen fot recommended gear. According to the manufacter the Fabia is the cheapest model for fuel consumption, in combined cycle consumes 3.4 l/100 km of gas and emits only 89 g/km of CO2. At the other extreme, although data do not differ much, it places the Superb model, respectively, with consumption of 4.4 l/100 km and emission 114 g/km CO2. Data, of course, that always everyone must check on its track. The pricing of Skoda Fabia Greenline, coming in many European car dealers already in May, starts at 14,000 euro.
