The Tata Aria is the Asian manufacturers SUV that had enveiled earlier this year at the New Dehli Motor Show, and wich will debut in the Indian market on 11 October. Tata Aria shows to the public with a smart and muscular design at the same time. The grille, which incorporates the typical brand style, is located between the trapezoidal headlamps, which stands under a large air intake that incorporates the fog lights. Chrome detailing on the sides accentuate the premium feature as well as the interior leather covered, simple but refined. On board the space is not lacking, with sliding back seats, a third row of seats and, if needed to increase the carrying capacity, all fully folding rear back seats. The Indian SUV offers premium equipment including 3D sound system, GPS integrated in the dashboard, multifunction steering wheel, cruise control and dual-zone automatic climate control. The Aria’s traction is 4×4 with automatic distribution of torque. The engine is 2.2-liter common rail turbo diesel with 140 hp and 320 Nm of torque.
After the Indian markets, Tata Aria will arrive in Britain next spring, to be exported in other European dealers in upcoming months. If Tata will keep their promises, will mark a turning point, perhaps especially for the entry of Tata in the European market, yet hard for the Indian brand because of the quality standards of Tata’s models, which have proved ill-suited to customers tastes of the old continent.
