The updated Volkswagen Eos debuts at next exhibition in Los Angeles (19-28 November 2010). The major aesthetic changes are in the front area with a three bars grille black chrome polished, new fog lights and revised headlights. At the rear stands a rather unusual bumper with square shaped LED lights that closely recall those of the SUV Volkswagen Touareg. The impression is entirely of a new model, balanced and proportionate. A remarkable result: often happens during a restyling that new complex fog+ grille does not harmonize with the existing shapes of the original car. Well, this is not the case with Eos. The new german version highlights Light and Park Assist fitting, opening Keyless ignition and and opening top roof via remote control. Inside the vehicle were made some changes for style and quality of materials, new instrument panel, redesigned steering wheel and leather seats that keep down the temperature of the seat even after long sun exposure. The engines available for the Eos are 4: The 2.0-liter diesel with 140 hp, with BlueMotion technology and regenerative braking system with Stop & Start and promising consumption standing at 4.8 l/100 km; three petrol engines, respectively 122, 160 and 210 hp. In Germany, the Volkswagen Eos goes on sale in late January from 27,970 euro
