2012 Audi RS5 Facelift comes a little bit lower and longer

Audi unveiled the new 2012 Audi RS5 Facelift.

 

After aesthetic upgrades that involved the entire A5 range the coupe, sedan and Sportback, it’s the time to redo the look for the Audi RS5 that the German auto maker has just presented this month at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show along with numerous new models. The facelifted RS5 Coupe measures 23 mm longer, 6 mm wider and 6 mm lower. As every one thought the 2012 Audi RS5 comes with the same engine, the natural aspirated 4,163 cc V8 that delivers to the wheels 450 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and a constant 430 Nm of torque between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 Km/h, but it’s possible to move this limit to 280 km/h as optional. Acceleration from 0 to 100 is 4.6 seconds. The sport coupe features new redesigned rear and front lights along a new bumper with conspicuous air intakes with giant struts that didn’t want any fog lights. The nice Audi RS5 facelifted is sold with standard 19inch forged aluminum wheels with 265/35 tires, while the 20 wheels with 275/30 tires on hand as an option for the total performance RS5.

The German auto maker will provide the Audi RS5 with a particularly dynamic damping technology with DRC dynamic ride control as well as the sport suspension (with three-stage variable damping characteristic) and the diagonally opposed pairs of shock absorbers. All Audi RS5 models, will drive the power to the road with Quattro permanent all-wheel drive, as is a standard for all Audi RS.
