The Civic design.
Honda says the 2012 Civic has enhanced interior quality as well as passenger space. The length will remain the same, but with a shorter wheelbase of 30 mm which ensures the same interior space but with extra safety equipment incorporated. The entrance area is now more comfortable as the large luggage compartment thanks with the original placement of the fuel tank under the front seats. Inside, the styling is very with a double layered dashboard combining both analogue and digital displays. The developers of the new Honda Civic wanted to keep the sporty and advanced elements of the car’s character but personalise all of them to communicatethe new more dynamic feel of the car.

Under the Civic’s hood.
The 2012 civic engines are equipped with standard start-stop, 6-speed manual gearbox optimized to minimize the transmission of vibration and noise. The range of engines remains the same exact, but with important improvements regarding the 1,4-L with 100 hp, the 1,8-L with 142 hp with emissions of 137 g/km of CO2 equivalent to an improvement of 10% compared to the old unit. The most evident enhancement, however, concerns the excellent 2.2-L which goes from 140 hp to 150 hp and from 340 Nm to 350 Nm of torque, but whose emissions fall from 135 to just 110 g/km of CO2, means more than 18% less.
In England the 2012 Honda Civic will cost from £16,495.
