Focus Zetec S with a new 180 hp Ecoboost engine.
The 2012 Ford Focus Zetec S was unveiled and followed the showrooms in the UK. The car is available with a choice of four different engines including a new 1.6-litre 180 hp EcoBoost turbo-charged petrol engine that will be shared also in the Fiesta ST next year. At launch the Focus Zetec S is offered with a five-door configuration, while a wagon version should come in February 2012.
The equipment range of the car includes a sport suspension with stiffer springs and dampers, 17-inch alloys, rear LED taillights, a starter button and sport pedals. Some changes concerns also the vehicle’s aerodynamics with a new package installed that features new front and rear bumpers and lower side skirts.

As stated by the carmaker, the 1.6-litre 180 hp EcoBoost turbo-charged, which is the engine that really stands out, reaches 222 km/h top speed and accelerates on the 0-100 Km/h in 7.9 seconds. Emissions of CO2 are estimated at 139 grams per kilometer. The 1.6-liter Ti-VCT petrol with 125 hp and the 2.0-litre TDCi with 163 hp are also available and can be offered with both manual or PowerShift automatic gearbox.
Ford says that the 2012 Focus Zetec S is priced in UK from £18,740.
