The South Korean car manufacturer has released the first images of the new generation of Hyundai i30, which just had its debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show (September 15 to 25). After the huge audience of the event, the C-segment hatchback will arrive in car dealerships in early 2012. The popular Hyundai i30 hatchback it’s been developed to attract younger buyers.
The next generation of the Hyundai i30 has a hexagonal-shaped grille, with a new side-line, and it’s a strong characteristic to achieve new customers in the C-segment. Allan Rushforth, Hyundai Motor Europe chief operating officer, said: “We expect to see the new generation i30 to appeal young, progressive buyers, who want a car that not only performs well but shows a great design too”.
The South Korean car maker affirms that the 2012 Hyundai i30 will be go against the Opel Astra, Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus in Europe, but the profits reports of 2010 demonstrate that VW compete on a new rank, with 500.000 units of the Golf sold on Europe, while the Asian car manufacturer was able to sell 115.000 of Hyundai i30 model this past year.
Asian auto maker didn’t provide any additional information about its new generation of Hyundai i30 but the car.
