2012 LANCIA YPSILON only 5-doors

The new Lancia Ypsilon keeps only the name of the current model, which should remain on the market until 2012. The sporty and sophisticated new design will make it seem like a small Delta and in fact from wich new Ypsilon should take inspiration. This new city car presentation is scheduled for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2011, the car event scheduled on March 3 to 13.

The new Lancia Ypsilon will be available for first time only as five-door body with a novelty that will make the car more attractive to market needs. 2012 Lancia Ypsilon will adopt MacPherson front suspension, while there will be a torsion beam to rear axle.

To push the new Lancia Ypsilon there are petrol and diesel engines: the first will be the 1.2 and 1.4-liter, in addition to the bi-cylinder 900 cm3 TwinAir. Diesel alternative will be the ultra tested version 1.3 Multijet 95 hp. All engines on new Lancia Ypsilon have manual six speed while will be available as optional a dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Italian carmaker has already thought everything  for this car’s debut and in recent days has been reported that for its city car’s spot campaign has been chosen the Italian Elisabetta Canalis, George Clooney’s girlfriend
