Skoda Yeti Urban special edition with extras at no costs

Skoda has launched a limited-edition model of the company’s Yeti SUV. The brand new Skoda Yeti Urban is limited to the UK market and just 750 units will be built. The Skoda Yeti Urban is available from the start of April 2012.

The new Yeti version comes from the SE trim mid-level but provides about £2000 of extra devices and options at no cost. On the outside the new version include 17″ black and chrome alloys wheels, silver door mirror covers, fog lights, roof rails, wheel arch extensions and chrome side strips

The interior trim gets a choice of red or black sports seats and a front middle armrest with a storage. Among other improvements, cruise control, a multi-function steering wheel, acoustic rear parking sensors, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth and navigator.

Yeti urban engines

The Yeti Urban will be offered in front-wheel-drive combined to a manual transmission only, everything with the option for two engines. The Diesel is a 108bhp 2.0-litre TDI that provides 52.3mpg and 140g/km, with the price at £18,335. The petrol alternative, which is offered at £16,905, is a 104bhp 1.2-l TSI that gives a claimed 44.1mpg on the combined cycle and produces 149g/km of CO2.

The new Yeti Suv is going to be available in black, silver, white or grey body colors, and company’s sellers will offer a selection of accessories including sports exhaust trim, stainless steel pedals and a portable DVD player.

Skoda Yeti Urban is part of Skoda’s expansion plan, as it seeks to ramp up sales and reach double sales by 2018.
