New Mazda2 Venture Edition Launched in UK

Venture Edition based on the Tamura.

The Japanese firm introduced the Mazda 2 Venture Edition, a special version based on the five-door Tamura but with extra options. It is packaged in six tones and two exclusive Burgundy Red and Dolphin Grey.

The Venture Edition features a custom body kit, 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps and tinted glass. As on the Tamura, the Mazda2 Venture Edition offers standard front, side and curtain airbags, driver’s seat height adjustment, remote central locking, leather steering wheel integrated with audio controls, split folding rear seats, CD radio and alarm system. Among other features are included a 5.8-inch touch screen TomTom sat-nav, climate control, Bluetooth phone connection and rear electric windows.

Mazda2 Venture Edition is pushed by the same 83bhp 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine. The power unit provides 56.5mpg and 115g/km of CO2.

The new special edition will be produced in 1,500 units, and will be on sale right now from £13,000, just £1,000 more than the Tamura. Mazda announced the facility to purchase the vehicle with a 5.9 per cent finance rate until 31 July 2012.
