Current Geneva Motor Show, scheduled for March 3 to 13, is showing the final version of the Chevrolet Cruze hatchback, whose shapes had been anticipated by a concept car at the Paris show in autumn. New Cruze will be available from early summer to meet especially tastes of younger customers, whose that in Europe prefer a “hatchback”. Wayne Brannon, president of Chevrolet Europe, said that the new Cruze “is to operate in a segment that represents more than a quarter of the total European market, wich with the five doors reached 65% of the total”
The engines? Petrol engines ranging from 1.6-liter 113 hp to 1.8-liter, 141 hp, and may also be available as LPG version. Only one, for now, the diesel engine of 2 liters and 150 hp.
The debut is expected at dealerships by mid-March, but the price has not yet been revealed. The Cruze Hatchback is realized with the new integrated body-frame BFI (body-frame integral system) and offers a load capacity of 400 liters (compared to the 450 version of the 4 doors). In addition, the rear seats can be folded separately.
