Italian carmaker, F&M by Mazzanti Automobili has just come out with a new version of the Evantra. Five units of the car will become available to the public in the middle of 2012. An interested party has already claimed one of the copies. The supercar’s future price tag is still unknown. However, you can expect the F&M Evantra to be one of the most expensive Italian cars of the year.
The F&M Evantra aims to embody the characteristics of the goddess of immortality. In the Etruscan language, the name of the car means “a rare and premier object.” The car has a steel frame, but it’s still impressively lightweight. It only weighs 2,600 pounds. The F&M Evantra’s lightweight exterior and powerful engine allow the car to go from 0 km/h to 100 km/h in a little under 3.7 seconds.
Other specifics of this two-seater coupe include a 3.5-liter, 6-cylinder engine. The car is 4.32 meters long, 1.95 meters wide, and 1.22 meters high. It has special rear and front LED lights and a large rear diffuser. The F&M Evantra’s most distinct characteristic is its doors that open upward and diagonally. When the sleek coupe’s doors are open, it looks like it has wings.
Buyers of the coupe will have some options when it comes to customization. The car’s engine will be available in 403 hp or 603 hp twin turbo. Buyers will also be able to decide which kind of aluminum materials make up the bodies of their particular copies of the F&M Evantra. Those who are interested in buying this Italian supercar in 2012 should order it now. The five copies are likely to be claimed long before they are actually released. Those who plan to have the car shipped from Italy should consider hiring qualified auto transporters to handle the job. The F&M Evantra is not an inexpensive supercar. So, all precautions should be taken to ensure its safe delivery.
