2012 Audi R8 facelift and more power.
Audi has unveiled the first teaser video for the facelift version of the Audi R8 sportscar. The teaser video comes with the promise that “the new R8 will be soon in the market. The Audi R8 was initially launched back in 2007 and although it has remained a successful car throughout its many years out there, Audi is preparing it for a major transformation for the Europe’s 2012 model year which will be a 2013 for the US buyers.

The primary features of the upcoming model declare that the car will get a facelifted exterior and interior design, and more powerful engines; both V8 and V10 options. The new Audi R8 is predicted at dealers in the summer of 2012.
For the outside, the R8 will receive minor adjustments with a new headlamp design and very small changes to the LED. The greatest changes are going to be under the hood. The 5.2 liter V10 engine will be updated to generate 533 HP, up from today’s 518 HP, and will be put together with a whole new seven-speed dual clutch S-tronic transmission.
As happen for the V8, it will be enhanced to have the same specs based in the S5. This means a total of 444 HP, up from today’s 424 HP. The German car maker also affirmed there will be an updated GT and GT Spyder model.
