The interior have undergone only to minor changes relating to the leather colors and the instruments panel which now shows the power indicator instead of the speedometer. Among technological equipment are the multimedia system MMI with thin screen and WLAN internet access for all passengers.

Under the bridge of the cockpit console are placed 300 kg of batteries. The thermal engine is the four-cylinder 1.4 TFSI with 211 hp that combined with the electric unit develops 238 hp total, and allow the Audi A3 e-tron Concept to reach 231 km/h and from standstill to 100 km/h in 6, 8 seconds. The Audi A3-tron weighs 1,592 kg total, almost like a four-wheel drive A3 Sportback, thanks to the abundant use of aluminum and lightweight materials. The trunk seems rather a bit small with only 265 liters, while the standard version offers 302 Lt.
