BMW X1 sDrive20d EfficientDynamics Edition: one more fuel-efficient option

BMW continues the program EfficientDynamics for its range with the announcement of the version X1 sDrive20d EfficientDynamics Edition. This diesel model is a compact SUV, specifically designed to cut fuel consumption and emissions with the 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine TwinPower Turbo with 163 hp and 380 Nm.

FUEL EFFICIENCY: the new BMW X1 sDrive20d EfficientDynamics Edition, a 5-door model with rear-wheel drive, according to data reported by the Bavarian carmaker, comes to the market to offer greater fuel efficiency which converted into numbers are an average of 4.5 l/100 km and 119 g/km of CO2. The max torque of the 2.0-liter is 380 Nm between 1,750 and 2,500 rpm.

WHAT CHANGES: among updates received, the X1 features the clutch with damped vibration at low speeds, the shift indicator for optimal changing, automatic start/stop, the electromechanical power steering, tires with low rolling resistance, Sreamline aerodynamic alloy wheels and finally the energy recovery system whict operates during braking. NEW ENGINES: parallel with the new soundproof system also will debut new x1 versions sDrive20i and xDrive20i with the petrol 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 184 hp and 270 Nm of torque between 1,250 and 4,500 rpm. BMW says that consumption on two-wheel drive version is 7.1 liters/100 km, while for the version four-wheel drive with automatic and manual transmission consumption will be respectvely 7.7 and 7.6 l/100 km.
