At Pebble Beach, the prestigious Concours d’Elegance, prestigeous automaker has surprised the folk with a rather daring show car, the Cadillac Ciel Concept, a luxurious four-seater convertible that features a four-door format. The Cadillac Ciel Concept, which in French means “sky” in French, shows a drop top that was intended to be the final car for Cadillac’s aspirations to offer flagship luxury model in the potential.
The Ciel Concept is powered by a 425-hp, dual-turbocharged version of GM’s 3.6-liter V6 engine with direct injection that’s enhanced by a hybrid system making use of lithium-ion battery packs.
The american automaker says the car’s shape is more organic and organic than its current style language, perhaps revealing more Art than Science with simpler lines and softer curves than we’re used to experiencing. Among the surprising details of the Ciel Concept the slightly rising chrome accent line on the rocker sections that expands the length of the Cadillac Ciel Concept. The massive 22-inch wheels might not search that great simply because the Ciel Concept itself is a big flagship with a wheelbase 12″ longer than a CTS sedan and total length reaches 200 inches.
Inside of the Ciel concept features what we want to see in terms of comfort, all the passengers are totally surrounded in their specific bucket seats with unique niceties to look after an evening’s chill, with aromatherapy controls in the armrests and a drawer containing sun screen, towel and a sun glasses. Of course, in the cockpit of the Cadillac Ciel Concept the technology is ever-present with each seat having its own place of connectivity options and the center dashboard being topped with an electromagnetic charging area.
