Chevrolet Corvette Centennial Edition celebrates 100 years

Chevrolet has created a special version of the Corvette Z06 called 2012 Centennial Edition to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the brand. The first Centennial Edition Z06 will be sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction on April 9 in West Palm Beach, an event organized to raise funds for the childhood cancer.

The Centennial Edition pack is available for all versions (Grand Sport, Z06 and ZR1) and stands out with the Carbon-Flash-Metallic livery, graphics and satin black wheels (available from 18 ” to 20″) with edges red tint matching brake calipers and the last a badge with the portrait of Louis Chevrolet on b-pillars, wheels and steering wheel. Regarding technical details, the Corvette Centennial Edition will be equipped with standard  Magnetic Selective Ride Control adjustable suspension, while the cockpit shows some features as Ebony leather covering with red stitching and same Microfiber details of the Z06 Carbon.
