Chevrolet has introduced the MI-ray, a concept car – which in Korean means “future” – with a futuristic design vaguely reminiscent other advanced prototypes such as BMW ConnectedDrive. The propulsion system is a latest generation plug-in with hybrid system and consists of a 1.5 turbo four-cylinder engine and two electric motors (by 20 hp) placed at the front and combined with a dual-clutch gearbox. All these features ensure high performance and fuel efficiency.
The Mi-ray uses very advanced materials and solutions, such as the doors with vertically openings and a body without top and made of carbon fiber. This Chevrolet roadster is equipped among others with movable flaps that vary depending on the speed downforce.
