After the Frankfurt Show, the Italians from the prestigious brand had released two official video of the new Ferrari 458 Spider: one with Fernando Alonso taking it to a ride and the second with the Spider flinging along beautiful roads by the Italian coastline. The first video it’s very interesting, as it shows the 458 Spider with the Spanish pilot dropping the roof and driving out the factory and then he shows us what it is capable of on the twisty Italian back roads.The formula 1 driver said: “i was extremely satisfied with the perfect combination of high performance, exceptional handling and the engine sound the Ferrari 458 Spider is able to deliver”.

The new 458 Spider is powered by Ferrari’s 4,499 cc V8 with 570 horsepower which was awarded International Engine of the Year 2011. This 458 convertible, features for the first time in a medium-engined supercar, a power-folding aluminum hardtop that can release or retract ahead of the engine in just 14 seconds, without compromising too much of the interior cabin space. The independently operable rear window of the 458 Spider, according to Ferrari contributes as a wind blocker to reduce noise when the roof is folded and normal discussions can be sustained at speeds up to 100 km/h.
