Ferrari Superamerica 45 a unique supercar for a Maranello enthusiast

A unique Ferrari Superamerica 45 was delivered to Peter Kalikow. The car, built on a 599 GTB, Ferrari has been produced on request of the American collector to celebrate its 45th anniversary of being Ferrari customer.

The car, along with Aston Martin V12 Zagato, was one of the most protagonists of the 2011 Concorso d’Eleganza in Villa d’Este (20 May), a  single supercar around the world made up by Ferrari Design Committee for the loyal customer Kalikow under a Special Projects of the prancing horse. The event, held on the famous river of Como Lake (Italy) was the opportunity to deliver this unique car to its new owner, who brings in the U.S. something unique and precious.

Ferrari Superamerica 45 stands out the exclusive body Blu Antilles, color similar to another car of Peter Kalikow collection, the 400 Superamerica convertible of 1961. The Superamerica 45 also shows the carbon-fiber rotary hard-top which swivels to retract under the rear bonnet. The special profile of the boot would cut the CX and to improve downforce. Interior features the combination of leather and dark blue carbon details. The design of the Ferrari Superamerica 45 is, like almost all the cars from Maranello, sporty and elegant, especially if looking at those double air intake near the front wheel, while the front comes with a chrome grille which key the pillars color. The alloy wheels are in body color and comes with nice diamond finish spokes
