Fiat has designed a 500 Pink Ribbon special edition reserved exclusively for the United States, thanks to a partnership of the Italian carmaker with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
Based on the 100 hp 1.4 MultiAir Lounge , the Pink Ribbon model will be available from October in Argento (silver) or Bianco (white) and features a dark pink stripe with a light pink ribbon – which is the logo of the fight against breast cancer – next to the logo “500“. Interior changes are minimal, but include an classy interior with unique floor mats and black leather seats with pink contrast stitching on sides.
Pricing starts at $22,500 (€16,538) and the Italian firm will donate $1,000 (€735) to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for every 500 Pink Ribbon edition sold. As we said just 250 units will be available, but Fiat has confirmed plans a minimum contribution of $ 50,000 (about 36,700 euros), in the event that there aren’t enough customers.
“We are honored to partner with an organization like the Breast Cancer Research Foundation”. ” The Pink Ribbon Edition offers our customers a unique and elegant way to express their support for the foundation” said Laura Soave, head of Fiat brand in North America.
