Geely, the company that owns Volvo since 2010, has introduced two new models at the recent Shanghai Auto Show: GS CC and Emgrand EC6-RV.
Geely GS-CC is a two-seater Coupe-Cabriolet which incorporates some of the coupe details shown at the 2010 Beijing Motor Show, details like the headlights, the wide front grille and alloy wheels with five double spokes. The interior seem high quality made and with good design especially compared to what will be the real price. The Geely GS-CC is powered by a 4 cylinder 1.3 130 hp.
Emgrand EC6-RV is another model shown at the Shanghai Auto Show by Geely which recently acquired Volvo. This compact car is 3,85 Mt, has five doors and comes with a 1.3 liter turbo engine. Geely’s goal is to raise the interest of young Chinese with this fashion car, but it is undeniable the resemblance to the Mini Cooper and also with some details of the Citroen DS-3.
