Lexus has unveiled the F Sport version of its newest hybrid, the CT 200h, developed for the premium C-segment, to attract the European public and to rival other top-leader models like the BMW 1-Series, Audi A3 and the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
The standard model was designed to meet the choices of customers in Europe and among the special features offered by the new package F Sport the17-inch alloy wheels with Liquid Silver finish, an F Sport suspension, Ocean Blue NuLuxe seats and the Black F Sport floor mats with blue contrast stitching. Also included in this special CT 200h F Sport are a car tote and backpack both with F Sport embossed logo. The F Sport Kit brings also unique front grille, a larger rear spoiler, aluminum sport pedals, F Sport exterior marker, metal front plates, perforated leather steering wheel with F Sport logo and leather shift knob. Customers who choose buying the Lexus 2012 CT 200h F Sport Special Edition will also get the Premium Audio Package and Navigation System.
The hybrid system of the CT 200h F Sport is the same as the Toyota Prius, the gasoline engine 1.8 VVT-i combined to a powerful electric motor. This is fueled by nickel-metal hydride batteries and delivers together with the conventional engine a total of 136 hp and allows the car to go from 0-100 Km/h in 9.8 seconds. The Drive option will still be 3: Eco, Normal and Sport, you can also choose EV electric mode but the autonomy is only for 2 km at 47 km/h.
