Maserati GranCabrio Sport

The Maserati GranCabrio Sport is the new sporty version of the ialian carmaker, presented to the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, which has just ended. This car, more powerful, take the engine of the GranTurismo MC Stradale, but with some technical changes to make it more comfortable to customers that love convertibles.

ENGINE: The 4.7-liter V8, has increased its power to 450 hp (10 more than the standard GranCabrio) and 510 Nm (20 more). The automatic transmission comes with the MC-Auto Shift, a managing software already used on the Quattroporte Sport GT S. Several minor changes also affect the Skyhook suspension and the brakes. Top speed of Maserati GranCabrio Sport is 285 km/h.

New colors for the body: Red Trionfale, inspired by the colors of the Maserati racing from the 50’s. In 1957, Juan Manuel Fangio won his fifth Formula One title with a red Maserati 250F at the Nurburgring with whom he signed a legendary comeback on Collins and Hawthorn.

Maserati GranCabrio Sport will go on sale in all 62 world markets since next summer.
