Mercedes announces a new model for the flagship S-Class 350 BlueTEC in combination with standard ECO Stop/Start, equipped with the turbo diesel V6 engine by 2987 cm3, 258 hp and 620 Nm of torque. With this technology, the premium sedan by Mercedes put itself as one of the most green and efficient car in the category.
The S-Class was already equipped with AdBlue to reduce emissions and meet the Euro 6 standard in 2014. By adding the Start/Stop system, the average consumption is reduced to 6.2 l/100 km compared to 6.8 l/100 km of the previous version. This innovation has also had a positive result on CO2 emissions, decreased to 177/164 grams per kilometer.
The price of the Mercedes S 350 BlueTec with the Stop/Start system has not been increased and the version is now available.
