NEW 2011 PORSCHE 911 SPEEDSTER

Porsche introduces the new version of the 356, the 911 Speedster just shown as its world premiere at the Paris Motor Show which is taking place in the French capital 2 to 17 October 2010. It has sports seats, plastic windows, an oblique windshield. The supercar is set to become a model of top sporty, will be produced as limited edition of 356 units, the price will be about 198,000 euros on average for the European market.

More power: the new 3.8 liters 6-cylinder boxer engine develops 408 hp (300 kW), 23 hp more than the 911 Carrera S. With an average consumption of 10.3 liters per 100 kilometers (NEDC), the new Speedster will maintain the same efficiency of the 911 Carrera S Cabriolet without the upgrade kit thanks to the principle Intelligent Performance Porsche effect. The power transmission to the rear axle, equipped with limited slip differential as standard, is assigned to the dual-clutch gearbox Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) 7 speed. Standard optional are offered the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and the carbon ceramic brake system called ‘Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake’ (PCCB)
