Finally comes the Fiat 500 LPG, which is presented during these days at the Paris motor. The small “premium” car is the most successful in recent years and now adopts the bi-fuel gas (petrol-lpg). This version comes from base of the 1.2-liter engine 69 hp on which was added a 31 liters toroidal tank for storing the liquid gas, hosted now in the spare tire’s place. The 500 bi-fuel already Euro 5, is equipped with Stop & Start system and software Eco Drive, which collects and analyzes data across the Blue & Me connection, by providing guidance to the driver to cut travel costs and the environment’s impact.
Fiat Powertrain Technologies, with the introduction of version 500 LPG, further completes the range that already includes many types and propulsion systems, the next version of the news might relate to natural gas and hybrid.
