NEW FORD C MAX AND GRAND C MAX 2010

The new Ford C Max was presented during the last Frankfurt show, will be on sale in the euro market in October together with the 7 seats Ford Grand C Max which is certainly the most interesting version.

Ford with its Multi-Activity Vehicle (MAV) will be antagonistic to other car manufacturers on the market of medium-size people carrier, 4.5 meters long for  the 7 seats and 4.4 for the 5. The aesthetic forms are reminiscent of recent Ka, Fiesta and Kuga, but now we’re talking about practicality, versatility and load capacity, essential skills if you want to compete in today’s market.

Changes on the Grand C Max are many, starting with the sliding rear doors, very handy for passengers entering and leaving the two rows of seats, much more interior space and eviable load capacity, standard accessories such as rear sensors and assisted semi-automatic parking system. Ford engines will also have the new electronic gearbox six-speed dual-clutch Powershift, recently introduced on the Ford S-Max, both minivans debuted with the new 1.6 engine with direct injection EcoBoost gasoline, available with 150 and 180 hp, then there will be TDCI turbo diesel version with  low emission 1.6-liter 95 hp and a more powerful 115 hp, the 2.0 liter 115, 136 and 163 hp.
