Great Wall unveils the new Steed 5 (elsewhere known as pickup Wingle) which will be available for the Italian market with the new 2-liter turbodiesel (Euro-4) by 150 hp and 310 Nm. The choice of a diesel engine is especially for professional users, who find the diesel the right engines for a double cabin pickup.
The exterior of the Great Wall Steed 5 shows a light front facelift than previous model, which is still available in the market with its bi-fuel version petrol-LPG. Differences with the current model are concentrated on a most wide front grille matching well to large tail-lights, the lower air intake and new fog lights designs. The truck sides are equipped with impact bars at the bottom of the doors. Sizes of this pickup are 5,040 x 1,800 x 1,730 mm and the weight ranges from 1,795 kg (front wheel drive) to 1,910 kg (4WD).
The Great Wall Steed 5 can be ordered with only two packages: Luxury with two-wheel drive from 17,700 Euro and Luxury with 4-wheel drive from 19,950 euros, excluding taxes. Among standard equipment are planned the electric folding mirrors, central locking with remote control, radio CD managed by the leather steering wheel, 16″ alloy wheels, fog lamps and manual air conditioning. The top of the range shows the leather seat upholstery, while the down versions are of fabric.
