Nissan Micra DIG-S – Direct Injection Gasoline – Supercharger

Nissan expands the new Micra range with the supercharged 1.2-DIG S 98 hp that promises new levels of power and efficiency. This version of the Japanese city car, has reduced fuel consumption and harmful emissions while achieving significant performance, thanks to the new 1.2 direct injection engine with turbocharger DGI-S (Gasoline Direct Injection-Supercharger).

The engine adopts the Miller cycle, the multi-point electronic fuel injection and the compression ratio of 13:1, measures that have yielded a value of power comparable to a four-cylinder 1.5 Lt. The only external difference compared with other Micra is by the rear and front spoiler that reduces the Cx from 0.33 to 0.29. PFurther advantages resulting comes from engine management systems, such as stop/start system and energy recovery during braking. Particularly significant is the combined cycle comsuption of the Visia version with manual transmission: 4.1 l/100. The top speed is 180 km/h.
