Despite the Opel Corsa OPC is one of the most powerful cars in its class, thanks to its 1.6-liter turbo 192 hp, folks of the Opel Performance Center have decided to go further by creating the new Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition with +18 hp with further revised mechanical to withstand the power increase.
LIMITED EDITION: the Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition, dedicated to the legendary German circuit, will have production with just 500 units available for the European markets. The logo “Nürburgring Edition” – on door sill and sports seats by Recaro – features the aesthetic of this super sports car which will be marketed at 24,000 € and lovers can already place their orders. The exterior of the Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition stands out for the front spoiler and a new stainless steel dual exhaust, 18″ special alloy wheels and 225/35 R18 tires.
NEW LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL: technical elements that most distinguishes the Corsa OPC Corsa Nürburgring from all the standard version is the limited slip differential with multiple discs on front axe, the Brembo braking system receives bigger discs and four-piston calipers while shock absorbers and Bilstein springs stiffen and lower the front balance of 20 mm and 15 mm to the back. Racing needs required a parameters reprogramming of the traction control and ESP, thanks to which the 1.6 engine now increases from 192 to 210 hp, while the top torque, comes to 280 Nm with the overboost function. Corsa OPC Nürburging edition takes 6.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and gets up to 230 Km/h in top speed. 6.2 seconds is the gap to go from 80 to 120 Km/h with fifth, while fuel consumption is 7.6 l/100 km with 178 g/km of CO2.
