OPEL GTC PARIS CONCEPT

GTC Paris Concept is the last Opel’s prototype, just presented at the Paris Motor Show (2-17 October). The new concept car, anticipates virtually the 3-door coupe version of the compact from Rüsselsheim that will be, in the parisienne salon, beside the seadan and the Sports Tourer. Expectations generated by the new Opel Astra GTC will not be betrayed: the line is engaging and immediately affects the aggressive front, sloping windshield and rear window, and the low roof of a true coupe. Curved surfaces, shaped in the wind tunnel, gives to Astra GTC a clean and attractive look as well as ready to be recognize.

Front fenders are very interesting, with two small series of LED lights and the big trapezoidal lower grille with large mesh size that will give air to the 2-liter direct injection turbocharged and Stop & Start that will be the soul of the sporty GTC, which, following tradition, should be called OPC. For this engine we are talking about 300 hp, even if there will be versions with lower power, including diesel. To ensure best dynamics on the asphalt road and use full power,  suspension will integrate FlexRide shock absorbers and is expected to adopt an electronic traction control that can simulate, using the brakes, the presence a locking front differential.
