The Peugeot 508 range, after a few months since its commercial launch, undergoes some minor updates of the trasmission reserved for diesel engines 1.6 and 2.0 and the petrol 1.6 THP turbo, available for both sedan and wagon. The Peugeot catalog is modified once again to add the new available versions. After been officially unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, the car has arrived at European markets since early 2011.
The 508 2.0-l HDi with 163 hp gets 6-speed manual transmission as the 1.6 e-HDi 112 hp, wich is also available with pack Allure. On these versions, Peugeot declares a combined fuel consumption of 4.2 l/100 km for the sedan and 4 , 3 l/100 km for the wagon thanks to the use of the Start & Stop system. The upgrade also involves the petrol version 1.6 THP turbo 156 hp with manual transmission, there is a lowering of emission and average consumption in the combined cycle: 6.2 l/100 km instead of the previous 6.7 l/100 km and 129 g/km CO2 instead of 155 g/km of the earlier version.
Diesel engine 1.6 e-HDi 112 hp available now, as said above, with pack “Allure” costs about € 28,900 for the sedan and € 30,000 in the case of wagon, while the prices of a Peugeot 508 HDi 2.0-liter with 163 hp and manual transmission vary according to the choice version and its body: the range is between € 26,600 and € 31,100.
