Porsche Panamera Turbo S a 4-door supercar with strength of character

The range of the Porsche Panamera grows with the arrival of the Turbo S, a more powerful version equipped with the exclusive 4.8-liter V8 with 550 hp and 750 Nm of torque. Using the overboost function in Sport and Sport Plus mode, you get up to 800 Nm with the power increase by 10% and torque by 14% compared to the standard Panamera Turbo.

DESIGN: some details also changed – compared to the range – as an increase of the rear wheelbase, the use of 20 ” wheels, side dedicated skirts and for interior the use of new black/cream leather. The Panamera Turbo S goes on sale on Europe next summer at an average price of 165,000 €.

PERFORMANCE: The new Porsche Panamera Turbo S now gets 100 km/h from zero in 3.8 seconds by launch-control assisted function and has a top speed of 306 km/h. Fuel consumption values are fairly unchanged compared to standard version: 11.5 l/100 km. The use of 19 ” wheels and “all-season” tyres specially designed by Michelin for the Panamera, will further reduce  fuel consumption at 11.3 l/100 km.

TECHNICAL DETAILS: Those values and better performance of the Porsche Panamera Turbo S, mentioned above, are mainly obtained by a new electronic engine management and by turbochargers with lighter elements of titanium-aluminum to have a lighter turbine and better compressor response and quick power delivering. Dynamic and stability of the Panamera Turbo S are managed by some vehicle dynamics systems such as the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), the Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (Plus PTV) and the Sport Chrono Package Turbo for suspension setting, electronic engine and exhaust sounds.
