OneThing is the campaign presented by Volkswagen for the launch of the new Golf 7, the best-selling car in Europe. The OneThing's goal is to invite people to share their one things in life that will be for the rest of our existence.
The sponsored campaign has been created by the OneThing Agency Tribal DDB in Los Angeles, integrating many pieces of folks videos. Everything moves around the main concept of the campaign launched in 33 countries.
People are invited to express a preference on the basis of a number of questions. An example?
If you could choose a movie to watch for the rest of your life?
If you could choose one the place where to live forever?
And a song to listen?
A food to eat for the rest of your life what would it be?
And why not choose the person to kiss for the whole life?
On the site www.onething.com comes the social part of the campaign. In fact, we are all invited to create our own personal My One Page, answering questions and creating an emotional video to share with our contacts through Facebook. One way to get people talking about herself and of course the new Volkswagen Golf 7. The questions in fact end with that fateful: "If you could choose ONE CAR for the rest of your life, what would you choose?".
The response to the OneThing campaign can only be "The new Golf 7"!
