During the Auto show in New York (April 22-May 1) Scion – a Toyota Group brand reserved for North America – has unveiled the FR-S Concept, which interprets the Toyota FT-86 II, the rear-drive coupe developed with Subaru.

The FR-S Concept, 4.27 meters long, 1.82 wide and just 1.20 high, should have the production version in 2012, according to the format ” front longitudinal engine and rear wheel drive ” and in keeping the acronym FR-S : Front-engine, Rear-wheel drive, Sport. Under this concept hides a petrol 2.0-liter boxer direct-injection combined with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
