The new Volkswagen Golf Sport Edition is offered only in the five-door and in combination with the 1.4-liter TSI petrol engine, four-cylinder 122-horsepower and with the 1.6-liter TDI diesel engine, four-cylinder inline 105 hp (for both, is only available a six-speed manual transmission). The Volkswagen Golf Sport Edition includes some parts from range R-Line as bumper, rear spoiler and side appendices, 16-inch alloy wheels, Pionner audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, USB and AUX-in, plus accessories already included in version Golf Trendline: electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors, ESP, climate control, electric windows (all), seven airbags and central locking with remote control.
The Golf United is the new entry level version and is available with a single 1.4 liter petrol engine 80 HP. The equipment is similar to the pack Trendline plus the CD tuner. The body can be chosen in white or black tint. The cockpit’s upgrade of the Golf Sport Edition has some elements in common with the Golf United, the interior received in both cases a new audio system with bluetooth and USB and AUX entry integrated to iPod direct control.
