White gold and porcelain on the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport “L’Or Blanc”.
The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L’Or Blanc is a special version of the sporty 2-seater with some parts of the bodywork and interior built for the first time with precious materials like gold and white porcelain. The open-top Veyron was designed by Bugatti in a single unit in collaboration with Königliche Porzellan-Manufatur Berlin (KPM), the famous and historic German company producing ceramics and art porcelain.

The Grand Sport L’Or Blanc stands out for its amazing special paint which creates a color effect that make the car look like porcelain. The Bugatti designers took te inspiration form the curves of the Alps roads (Passo Stelvio) and used a particular technique with a special Japanese tape to hand-paint the body with blue enamel. The work of the skilled craftsmen took three weeks, getting to the end of a beautiful color that has been cmpleted with 5 transparent layers and applied twelve porcelain details such as the engine oil cap, hub caps and the fuel tank cap.

The cabin of the Veyron L’Or Blanc stands out the porcelain inlays applied on the dashboard and behind the seats, where it is embossed the rampant elephant symbol created by Rembrandt Bugatti. In the glove box there is also a porcelain piece with diamond-cut finish, part of a picnic set and dedicated by KPM to Bugatti. The price? We can say that it is appropriate to the exclusivity of the car, whereas we are talking about a true art work that moves on four wheels at 400 km/h. – 1.65 million of euros!
